Today I'm going to share with you the process I’ve seen over and over to build a successful startup. It all starts with the spark.Idea brainstorming.when it comes to brainstorming, 3 main areas-> Business-> Market-> Tech brainstorming. The goals of these 3 steps are to build your hypothesis and then, building an audience. This is the most important one! Most entrepreneurs assume their hypothesis are right without testing them. It’s a good thing to make a decision based on our own hunch, but it’s also very important to validate those decisions with facts. And there is no better way to validate than building an audience of people who could be interested in what you offer. You might ask, yes, but how? Certainly not just by talking about you and your solution all the time.Build an audience on social media talking about what they care about. You might ask, yes, but how?Certainly not just by talking about you and your solution all the time.Build an audience on social media talking about what they care about. I can sell you something for parents like an app for babies, to make them smarter…well, who would not want their kids to be smarter than them …Write about the challenges that parents have. About breastfeeding, how to make baby sleep at night etc and then you will be able to talk about the problem your product will solve and ask question about it.In other words, don’t focus your communication on your offer, but on your audience.Next step: Prototyping. They are thousands way to prototype.- Creating a fake application,- Pre-selling- Creating real functional application based on existing tool.Selling services based product… What’s important is to evaluate people commitment and responsiveness with your idea. There is no better way than making them pay. Money is the best commitment you’ll ever find. Then if you are able to build your market proof with real people. Then it makes sense to get your initial fundings Usually <100K is enough for the first version of your application. This is what I would call the MVP ( not the same as prototyping).Real functional and well design product.Minimum product but with a key feature! It does small things, but it does it well! That’s also when we talk about “Focus group”It’s building a small community inside your audience, usually around 10 people, who are in love with your concept and willing to contribute with their ideas. It’s a great way to create the best customer experience ever,A customer experience designed by your clients, for your future clients. Then when you defined what to do, it’s time for Software development & teasing. It’s important to keep your audience warm and give them some sneak peek of what you’re building for them.During this time, you’ll not only focus on managing your developers or providers but also on sending regular news to your audience and mailing list.Ending by a pre-sales just a few weeks before the launch. And obviously the next step is the Product launch.During the product launch, the goal is to spread the word about what you offer. And here, it’s tricky!!! As you should not put your offer first, but your success stories and user experience first.During that launch period, focus on Talking about your current client’s successes and feedbacks on the Amazon offer you’re doing because of the launch. e.i. it’s soon will go back to a regular price. Then when your launch is done, it’s time to collect and work on collecting feedbacks. Obviously, you’ll have collected feedbacks all the way until this point. But before working on your next version, it’s time to gather testimonials on what works and what could be improved. That’s what will really allow you to move forward with your real fundraising. At this stage, usually, we talk about 200K up to a million. And if you achieved the previous stages successfully, then you’ll have a proof of concept.A working application the MVP and feedback on what to improve. And then you can restart, sharing your hypothesis with the focus group, designing the next version and going through this simple improvement cycle where you:TestBuildLearn.
