Building a morning routine for success is fundamental for business founders who want to achieve their goals. But it's beneficial for everyone who wants to be successful.

Actually, it goes beyond keeping habits, it’s about making them part of your identity.

 

Starting a morning ritual

 

In short, the routine is about establishing new habits that will determine who you want to become. For that, Elrod introduces the S.A.V.E.R.S. These are recommended practices to start your day in the right way. 

 

S.A.V.E.R.S stands for:

 

  • Silence: meditation
  • Affirmation: mantras to change negative thoughts
  • Visualization: picture behaviors and outcomes you wish
  • Exercise: physical well-being
  • Reading: learn from experts
  • Scribe: journaling to see the progress

Also, the benefits associated with the practice are priceless: anxiety control, stress reduction and raise self-awareness, for example.

 

Some apps we love are Calm and Headspace for guided meditation, in case a need a hand to start.

 

Exercise

 

When it comes to exercise, many people think about weight loss, but it can do so much more for you!

 

If you manage to add some good 15min to your morning routine, you’ll get an energy boost to go through the day and be happier (hello endorphins!).

 

There’s Yoga, Crossfit, running, swimming… so many options! Just find something you love and fit your routine.

 

Journaling

Well, preparing for your day is not ready if you don’t plan it and keep positive thoughts, right?

 

A bit of journaling never killed anyone and it gives you clearance about the progress you’ve made.

 

You can record a video, keep a diary, use an app. Seriously, you just need to start and see how much you can do and evolve.

 

 

Learning

 

And after all that, you also need to study?! Well, to improve, you need to keep on learning and studying. Don’t let curiosity runaway.

 

Find a great book about a theme that’s interesting and which can help you really get where you want and become the person you wish to be.
